History : Colosseum

As you know, colosseum is the one of famous place that you need to visit in Italy. It was because it considered to be one of the greatest Roman architecture and engineering work. This colosseum located at Regio IV Templum Pacis, Rome, Italy. It is been built since 70-80AD years. It was the largest amphitheater ever built at the time. The original Latin name for this is Amphitheatrum Flavium. The colosseum could hold 50000 to 80000 spectators at various points. It will be use for gladiatorial contests and public spectacles, animal hunts or re-enactments of famous battles. It also made over 3000 feet of stone and the rows of seating were built in a layerd way. But after the earthquakes case, the stone robbers left it in ruins. But some part of it were still stands until today.
